Some websites have named this plant as S. crispus [1] [2] instead of S. crispa. I have used the former name for some time. Later, I realise that the name S. crispus cannot be found in the International Plant Names Index (IPNI) database. Also, I am unable to find any good reference to the name S. crispus. Hence, I have kept to S. crispa.

In the NParks FloraWeb (viewed on 13-Oct-2009), the name of this plant was S. crispus with a synonym Sericocalyx crispus. However, in the book "1001 garden Plants of Singapore, 2nd Edition" published by NParks, the name of the plant was S. crispa. I am just wondering which one is the correct version.
