A large gathering of this bug with its eggs and nymphs was seen in May 2009 on its host plant, a creeper known as Ipomoea pes-caprae (Beach Morning Glory). A more recent sighting of such gathering of the bug was report in February 2016 at Kent Ridge, in the premises of Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum.
