The nest of this ant is underground. Below picture shows the entrance of the nest on the ground.

Below is probably the winged version.

The ant builds its nest underground with a small entrance at the surface of the soil. A fresh sand hill can be found just outside the entrance with the worker ants seen carrying sands out from the entrance and dumping them on the sand hill.
